I love Taco pizza but its hard to find a good one and Toppers is definitely the best one I have been able to find in the Twin Cities.

Definitely "A-OK" in my book! Super cheap yet surprisingly tasty pizza! I recommend asking for them to overbake the pizza so it's extra crispy, otherwise it tends to be kind-of limp. The wings were just alright, a little mushy, in my opinion. Their online ordering system needs some improvement- it was frustrating not receiving any sort of email or text message saying my pizza was on it's way- living in an apartment building, I would prefer some advance notice when my pizza is almost here, so I can go downstairs to get it. The pizza took 10 minutes longer than the projected delivery time on the website when I placed my order. The employees at this Toppers location seem super friendly and hardworking, which is great. Nothing worse than dealing with lazy, rude employees! I will definitely order again from here, especially during their $5 "Toppers Tuesdays" deal days!! $5 for a large pizza = amazing.

I love this place. Everytime we walk in to order everyone is so nice. They always try to accommodate to us. Pizza is always fresh, the toppersticks are my absolute favorite. Toppers tops papa johns, dominoes, literally any pizza place around. Great work. Shoutout to jake and Jason

We had Tuscan Chicken with tall boy bread, and it was very good. I think this will beat most of other pizza brands such as Papa Johns or even Mesa Pizza in terms of toppings and bread alone. I would definitely order the same pizza again, and will try another pizza next time! Highly recommended!!

Not the best pizza by no measure. But hey its cheap and they deliver and it's not the same three pizza chains you always get. They usually have good deals for college kids as well.

Not overwhelmingly good, but not bad. For quick, cheap and close pizza, we are going to have to put this in rotation. Like: -Online ordering feature -Close proximity -Delivery option (site says 40 min) only 15 if carry out - Their crust; fresh, fluffy and a little chewy The baked potato pizza is not as good as Pizza Luce, but it did the trick. Not a ton of cheese on it, could maybe add some more and I'm not sure that I'm all that crazy about the chunks of potato... The gyro pizza I didn't think I would like, but it was pretty decent. Pizza and the choice of pizzas reminds me a lot of Sarpinos. Will most likely return if looking for a quick meal. Prices are reasonably priced.

We ordered one medium pizza and it took a very long time to arrive. We live roughly 5-10 minutes away. When it did arrive, it was cold and the cheese was hard. We ate two slices total and threw it away. It was terrible. We will definitely not be ordering from there again.

Let's do a "real time review"! So while I sit here and wait for pizza to magically arrive at my door (ain't this a great country or what?), I have "35 to 40 minutes" to write about my ordering experience. First off, I attempted to order online. FAIL. (Something to the effect of, "The restaurant did not receive your order. Please call them or try again later.") So I gave up on the 21st century and resorted to the 19th century and tried the telephone... This had slightly better results. While I waited on hold, I had the option to listen to the voice over guy (for once not St. Paul native (and VO god) Ben Patrick Johnson!) count backwards from 20 as either Gilbert Godfried or Fran Drescher... OK, so that was kind of funny. Unfortunately, after having chosen option 2 (Fran), the guy in the shop picked up before the countdown began. So sad - I was looking forward to that. Ordered one, hand tossed, large sausage and onion. (With first tries on pizza places, I keep it simple.) On to the pizza (it should be here any moment... Let's hum the Jeopardy think music together... ... ... ... ... ... (by the way, you have horrible pitch)) Oooooh! There's the door bell... 42 minutes... Over their estimate, but not by enough to be cranky about it. Box open - smells good. Looks good. Has pepperoncini in the box like the competition (couldn't be original huh?)... Ok, so taste wise - Actually I hate to say this, but it's kind of bland. It's not bad. But it's not *better* than the large chain competitors. In this race, I still have to vote for the neighborhood "indies" (Italian Pie Shoppe, Green Mill, Pizza Luce, Skinners, Punch). So now it comes down to price. Pick your coupons folks, cause that's the only place where you will find a difference. Sorry Toppers, you're just not 4 or 5 star worthy.

Really mixed reviews made me hesitant, but not any more. I ordered their taco pizza (was actually in the mood for one) and it was good. Their online ordering site is still broken, so I had to call in the order. They said delivery in 35 minutes and it was 37, so that's on time in my book. Pizza was HEAVY with toppings and messy, but very tasty. Papa John's is off my ordering list, and Toppers is there now.

The pizza was greasy and the ingredients seemed cheap. The topper sticks weren't bad, but they also weren't anything particularly special. I would not go there again.

My new go-to delivery pizza. Ive ordered about 5 times now and my orders have always been correct, on time, hot, and fresh. Toppers is a relatively new chain in the area, and is by far my favorite of the chain pizzerias. They have a nice variety of toppings and some really good and interesting specialty pizzas. I highly recommend their gyro and philly cheese steak pizzas, though I'll confess I usually go for my favorite combination of Pepperoni and Spinach. My only downside isnt really a downside, but the option to "make it a tallboy" ie nearly double the weight of your pizza is too economical to pass up and i always end up eating too much as a result. Add in the topperstix specials, which is basically another pizza added on, and the meal is sure to leave you happy and ashamed. Their wings are also pretty good for delivery. Good times.

Love this place!!! Not only do they have delicious food, they help to give back to the community. The owner is a Hamline Alumni and he generously donates to HU events generously! Give them a lot of business, they deserve it. There are also a lot of really nice people who work there :) They are always smiling, so it seems like a great place all around

Stopped in with some friends for a bite. The gyro hoagie was so so delicious. I want another one right now. My favorite part of Toppers? The service. Every single person was not only polite, but had a great attitude without seeming fake or forced. I believe good service is HIGHLY underrated these days. Only downside--if you want to eat-in you are limited to some window-facing bars with high chairs or living room style chairs and coffee table. Both are ok, but not ideal for chatting with multiple people or eating comfortably.

Given that Dominos no longer offers coupons for cheap pizza -- instead opting to offer coupons for expensive pizza's I might as well order from Luce -- we were in search of a cheap late night alternative. We've now ordered toppers three times and I feel qualified to review. Price wise, toppers isn't insanely cheap, but it definitely beats the competition for taste/dollar. Although the pizza is a little bit, how to put it, "Midwestern" compared to Dominos (i.e. possibly more unhealthy), overall it's pretty tasty and about what you would expect from a delivery chain. Where toppers really shines is their grinders. Basically, they take all of the meat from a pizza and reduce the cheese, sauce, and bread by like 50% by putting it in a sandwich. It's probably not the best deal compared to a pizza but one will fill you up really well. I'm not a fan of breadsticks, but their breadsticks are really tasty to be honest. Only other complaint would be that their delivery time isn't the fastest, but it's not the slowest either. Overall, a good addition to Mac-Groveland.

I stopped in late night for some munchies and went with the southwest chicken club. It was really good, and was prepared fairly quickly. The guy at the counter was nice and understood my late night sandwich craving well. I'll have to stop in again at some point as the price wasn't too bad and the food gives Davanni's a challenge in the area.

Ok so I live on como ave in a good area and I call toppers for delivery. They take my full order and say it will be there in 20 minutes. They call me a half hour later telling me sorry but they don't deliver to my area and direct me to a different toppers that does deliver to como. After talking to this toppers they say they also do not deliver to me. They say they are sorry but will deliver in this situation, it took a long time but the falcon heights location delivered and gave us our pizza for free. So a good save here

Absolutely gross... and I guess they must have run out of meat last night. I ordered the Taco pizza, and there was zero meat on it- just crust, lettuce, tomato and mounds of tortilla chips. I checked the whole thing to confirm this. Ate one piece, lost my appetite and threw the rest in the trash. Then there are the "Topperstix". I thought the chocolate and bacon mix sounded interesting, but it was worse than the pizza. Each piece was so thoroughly saturated in either butter or oil that they weighed a ton and were disgusting and slimy. Also, there wasn't a crumble of bacon to be found anywhere, just a shitload of oil and chocolate. They followed the pizza to its final resting place. I'd say the food is three notches below Little Caesars, at three times the price. Never again, Toppers; not on a bet, not on my drunkest night, not even for free.

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
